In 2019. Earthwatch Institute, at the Royal Geographical Society of London, has declared the bees the most important living beings on the planet.
More than 70% of world flora and fauna depend on bees, where pollination is one of their most important functions: they help plants reproduce.
Out of love for the plants and the bees, Supernatural and Gaia movement, with support of Embassy of Netherlands in Serbia, Embassy of Republic of Slovenia in Serbia and partners: Vita Verde, Biological Research Society "Josif Pančić”, Belgrade Union of Beekeepers, Marsh Creative Production and Mad Med on May 20th 2021. for the World Bee Day, formed a green oasis of 1,200 bee friendly plants and 12 beehives in down town Belgrade in front of the cultural center Silosi.
It seems that transformation is our main drive when taking up a project, and this one was no exception, A small waste dump was cleaned, and transformed into a beautiful garden with bees and plants.
Today, the bee garden, operated by Gaia movement and Mad Mad, has become a Bee center, where people can get closer to these amazing creatures learn about beekeeping and biodiversity.
We believe that we are the generation that was born with a purpose; to be the true Earth keepers.
